Descriptions of finishes:
Flat black is just that - flat black. A very popular "Classic" finish.
Semi gloss black has a slight sheen to it. It is a smooth finish - very easy to clean.
Black Matte Textured is a rough finish, hence the name - textured - it has a slight sheen to it.
Gunsmoke Black Hammer is called gunsmoke because it is slightly gray. It has little indentions in the finish, that is why it is called hammered. It is a glossy finish. Easy to clean.
Rust faux finish is a fake rust finish. I used to do a real rust finish but thought that to be unsanitary for a kitchen. This is a popular finish.
Patina faux finish replicates aged copper.
The Bronze finish is painted black and then a brass color is fogged over it and then black is fogged back over that to soften the look. Then it is clear coated for that aged bronze look and a surface that is easy to clean.
The Pewter finish is much the same as the bronze. First black is applied, then silver is fogged over it and then black is fogged over the silver to soften and blend. It is then clear coated.
