Description of colors:
Flat Black has no shine
Semi Gloss Black has a slight shine to it
Hammered Black has little indentations in the finish also known as fish eyes. This gives the appearance of a hammered finish. It has a slightly grayish tint to it. It is glossy
Textured Black has a sort of rough finish to it. With a very slight sheen.
Hand Rubbed Bronze: The door is sprayed with Flat Black, allowed to dry. Then lightly fogged over with a metallic brass. Then the whole door is rubbed down with a black acrylic paint which softens and blends the black and brass together making the hand rubbed bronze finish. Tedious and time consuming.
This finish is not one uniform color which gives it the antique look.
Hand Rubbed Pewter: The door is sprayed with Flat Black, allowed to dry. Then lightly fogged over with a metallic silver. Then the whole door is rubbed down with a black acrylic paint which softens and blends the black and silver together making the hand rubbed pewter finish. Tedious and time consuming. This finish is not one uniform color which gives it the antique look.
