Hi! I just wanted to let potential customers know that when I first started building my doors I used 3/4" 16 gauge steel tubing for the outer frame. As time went by I started using 1" 16 gauge steel tubing for a more impressive look and to make the doors even heavier duty than neccessary. Now, today, I am using 1" 11 gauge steel tubing to make the doors even stronger than before.
(11 gauge has a thicker wall than 16 gauge, about twice as thick)
It is a little bit overkill but I want to offer the highest quality product I can. Sure, it costs a little more but I think my customers want and deserve the best. After all, this is something that will be around for a long long time. And increase the value of your home as well. The heavier duty doors just feel better in your hand when opening and closing the door. Thanks, Leo
